“Were optimistic to see this type of booking activity during our Windstar Week sale, which points to a return in demand for vacations and especially small-ship cruise vacations,” said Windstar Cruises’ President Christopher Prelog. “People are discovering the advantage of small, yacht-like sailing and all-suite cruising to aspirational destinations.”

Windstar Cruises operates a fleet of six boutique, all-suite and sailing yachts that carry 148-342 guests.

Earlier this month, the company announced the cancellation of Asia cruises onboard the Star Breeze for fall 2022 due to ongoing uncertainty over the reopening of ports in the region. In its place, Windstar will be extending its Alaska season and offering voyages on the U.S. west coast, a trans-ocean sailing as well as five itineraries in French Polynesia.
